💡Apparently, Nothing Goes to Waste

I’ve been saving my scrap paper.

I thought someday I might turn it into handmade paper and use it for art.

Today I realized that most of the paper I’ve saved is from court cases.

So apparently my future botanical paintings may be painted on recycled litigation.

And honestly?

I can’t think of a better ending for it.

Shred it.

Soak it.

Pulp it.

Press it.

Grow flowers over it.

Maybe that’s what making things has been teaching me lately:

not everything that has taken up space in our lives

needs to remain in the form in which it arrived.

Some things can be taken apart.

Some things can become material.

Some things can become something entirely different.

Even the court filings eventually become compost. 🌿
