Born of Water

Its softness,
rounded form
and connection with the protective shell
make it a beautiful symbolic stone for birth,

The Nature of Pearl
Pearl is created through relationship.
Something enters the protected interior of the mollusk,
and the animal responds by surrounding it,
gradually building layers around it.
