A warm-held sanctuary.
Sanctum of the Sun gathers yellow and orange copal, deep red amber, and the shape of the cross into a talisman of warmth, protection, and remembered light.
At its center hangs a large yellow copal cross.
Beside it, yellow copal hearts, orange copal pillows, and red amber beads move outward in warm stages of color—gold, orange, ember, red.
The cross here is not being used as doctrine.
It is convergence.
Four directions meeting at one center.
A place where movement gathers long enough to become still.
The Sanctum
A sanctum is a protected place.
Not necessarily a place hidden away from life, but a place within it where something can remain warm, intact, and held.
That is what this piece feels like.
Not blazing sunlight.

Leo is governed by the Sun—the center around which a system gathers.

is older fossilized resin, carrying the preserved history of ancient trees.
