✨ Personal Blueprint
A Different Way of Seeing Your Design
Each of us arrives with a particular combination of energies,
tendencies,
strengths,
challenges,
and possibilities.
A Personal Blueprint is a way of looking at that underlying design.
I begin with the birth chart and the information present at the moment of birth.
Rather than using the chart to tell you who you are supposed to be,
we look at the patterns within it
and begin to see how the different pieces of your design relate to one another.
What forms the foundation?
Which energies are most prominent?
And what becomes visible when we look at the design as a whole?
Featured blueprint: The United States.
✨ Birth Chart
Your birth chart provides the foundation of the Personal Blueprint.
To begin,
I focus on three areas.
Life Purpose
We look at the larger pattern running through the chart
the themes connected with growth,
expression,
experience,
and meaning.
Life purpose tells us where we came from and where we are going.
It is one part of the design:
a larger structural theme
that can help us understand how other parts of the blueprint fit together.
Main 3 Energies
Next,
we look at the three energies that form the central framework of your birth chart.
Together,
they establish some of the primary structure of the blueprint
and give us a first look at how you experience yourself,
how you interact with the world,
and some of the fundamental energies you carry.
Remaining 7 Energies
Then we fill in more of the design.
The remaining seven energies add dimension and detail,
showing how different parts of the blueprint may express themselves through
relationships,
communication,
creativity,
values,
motivation,
growth,
responsibility,
and change.
One piece alone tells us very little.
The design becomes clearer when we see how the pieces work together.
🧩 Add Another Layer
For those who want a more detailed Personal Blueprint,
we can add another layer through Human Design.
Rather than replacing the birth chart,
this gives us another structure to examine alongside it.
Patterns may repeat.
Other details may become visible.
And connections between different parts of the blueprint may begin to emerge.
Life Path Numbers
We explore the numerical patterns connected with your life path
and consider how those themes fit within the larger design.
Power Centers
We look at the power centers within your Human Design
and the patterns they add to the blueprint.
Bridges & Gates
We can also explore the bridges and gates
the places where energies connect,
interact,
or create relationships within the design.
Sometimes this additional layer
gives language to something you have recognized in yourself for years
but have never quite known how to describe.
👶 A Child’s Blueprint
A Personal Blueprint can also be created for a child.
I don’t believe a child’s blueprint should be used
as a set of specifications for who that child is supposed to become.
Quite the opposite.
It can give the adults who love that child
another way to notice the design that is already emerging.
We can look at temperament,
sensitivities,
strengths,
patterns,
and the ways this particular child may experience the world
differently from the people raising them.
The blueprint doesn’t tell us how to build the child.
The child is already here.
It gives us another way to study the design with curiosity
and perhaps understand more clearly the person who is unfolding in front of us.
Instead of asking:
How do I make this child fit the design I had in mind?
we can ask:
What is already present in this child’s design,
and how can I give them room to become themselves?
The Blueprint Is Not the Building
A blueprint can show structure.
It can reveal relationships between parts.
It can help us notice something we might otherwise have overlooked.
But it is not the finished building.
Neither is your Personal Blueprint.
You live.
You choose.
You learn.
You change.
You add rooms.
You open doors.
You discover parts of yourself
that could never have been completely represented on a page.
The blueprint gives us a way to study the design.
You are the one who gives it life.
