π± Plants & Foraging
The mountain has always provided.
Our first responsibility is to notice.
There is a quiet conversation taking place beneath every step.
Plants reaching toward the sun.
Roots sharing nutrients beneath the soil.
Pollinators moving from blossom to blossom.
Animals gathering only what they need.
Nothing wasted.
Nothing hurried.
Foraging begins long before we harvest.
It begins by learning to see.
The Lesson
The mountain does not belong to us.
We are visitors.
Every leaf gathered.
Every flower admired.
Every berry tasted.
Every root left undisturbed.
Becomes part of our relationship with the living world.
The best foragers are not the ones who collect the most.
They are the ones who leave the lightest footprints.

From the Keeper
Some of my favorite days have ended with almost nothing in my basket.
But everything in my heart.
The mountain has never measured a successful walk by what I carried home.
Only by how carefully I noticed.
The longer I spend among plants, the less interested I become in taking from them.
The greater joy comes from learning their names…
watching where they choose to grow…
and quietly saying,
“Thank you for letting me visit.“
Continue Wandering…
