♎ Garland at the Threshold

A hand-sewn lariat of soft structure

chosen openness

and gentle crossings.

Garland at the Threshold does not sit like an ordinary necklace.

It arrives.

Seed beads are sewn into a daisy-chain path in brick, aqua, pink, and lavender, holding Swarovski pearls that move softly through tan, cream, and rose.

The strand does not close into a fixed circle.

Instead, it passes through itself.

At the crossing point sits a flat carved purple jade flower with a single pearl at its center.

From there, two dangles fall in measured groups, repeating pearls like pauses in a sentence.

This is a piece for moments when gentleness is intentional.

The Threshold

A threshold is not only a doorway.

It is the place between what has been and what comes next.

Garland at the Threshold lives in that in-between space.

The lariat structure allows choice.

How far it falls.

How much is shown.

How closely it rests against the body.

Nothing about the piece is forced.

It asks to be arranged.

Chosen.

Entered.

♎ Libra Alignment

Garland at the Threshold belongs to Libra.

Libra understands relationship, proportion, invitation, and the art of meeting without overwhelming.

This necklace carries that same language.

The pearls soften.

The jade steadies.

The stitched daisies create rhythm.

The lariat allows movement.

And the whole piece leaves room for the wearer to decide how open or how contained the arrangement becomes.

Balance here is not static.

It is negotiated.

Study the Materials

The materials within a talisman have histories of their own.

🪞Swarovski Pearls

bring soft reflected light and a refined surface.

💛Purple Jade

gives the floral center a quieter, more restrained presence.

❤️Glass Seed Beads

carry color, repetition, and rhythm through the hand-sewn daisy chain.

The materials are different.

The stitch teaches them how to belong together.

A Note from the Keeper

This piece was built stitch by stitch.

Not hurried.

Not simply strung.

Each small bead had to enter the pattern in its place.

Perhaps that is part of what makes it a threshold piece.

Some crossings happen all at once.

Others are made slowly—

one small choice at a time.

Gentleness can still have structure.
