🎨 Commission Artwork
Something Made for You
Sometimes the piece you are looking for has not been made yet.
A commissioned work begins with an idea, a feeling, a place, a memory—or sometimes simply the knowing that you want something created especially for you.
You do not need to arrive with the entire painting already imagined.
That is part of the process.
🌿 Beginning the Conversation
We begin by talking.
You might have a particular space where the artwork will live.
A landscape, animal, symbol, person, memory, or experience that matters to you.
A feeling you want the piece to carry.
Or perhaps you have seen my work and simply want to give me room to create something for you.
All of those are perfectly good places to begin.
🎨 The Commission Process
Once I understand what you are looking for, we will discuss the size, medium, general direction, timing, and price of the piece.
If it feels like a good fit for both of us, I will create a proposal for your commission before the work begins.
Because original artwork develops as it is made, there will always be room for the painting itself to become part of the conversation.
A commission is not a reproduction of an idea.
It is the creation of something new.
🖌️ A Note About My Work
My paintings are made by hand and carry the natural marks of that process.
I do not try to make every line perfect or every surface identical.
I am interested in character, movement, story, and the moment when a painting begins to feel alive.
That means your commissioned piece will be uniquely yours.
There will never be another exactly like it.
💛 Ready to Begin?
If there is something you have been imagining, tell me about it.
You don’t need to know exactly what it should look like.
We can discover that together.
Submitting this request does not obligate you to purchase an Art piece.
