πŸ’‘ Life as Teacher

Some lessons arrive without announcing themselves.

Life has never seemed particularly interested in whether we are ready for the lesson.

Sometimes it teaches through joy.

Sometimes through loss.

Sometimes through a mistake,

an unexpected turn,

a difficult season,

or something so ordinary we almost miss what it has shown us.

The lesson does not always reveal itself while we are living it.

Sometimes understanding comes years later.

Sometimes it arrives while standing in the kitchen,

working in the garden,

making something with our hands,

or looking again at something we thought we already understood.

And sometimes the lesson changes when we do.

Perhaps that is part of being alive.

We are never really finished learning how to live.

🌿 Lessons Along the Way

These are stories from my own life

not instructions for how someone else should live theirs.

They are simply moments that taught me something,

changed the way I understood something,

or invited me to look again.

Some lessons were gentle.

Some were expensive.

Some were hilarious.

And some took me a very long time to understand.

But each left something behind.

Life keeps teaching.

I am still learning.

and started looking like art supplies.
